| Baking with Oranges? |

I just received a whole bunch of not-so-fresh oranges and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for what I could bake with them. They're still good, just getting to the end of their freshness and I know I can't eat them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey! Thanks for for all the input I got on making a shortbread crust on a pecan pie. And here's my results... oops...
Well, that didn't last long. I used a slightly non-standard recipe (which was gutsy since I've NEVER baked one before, of any kind. I'll give my notes from doing this one, too, for the next time I make it or you might make it, so you have a little easier time than I did.

actually there was 4 forums that mentioned in the magazine (2 korea's and 2 Japan's) we're glad that they chose KATTUNesia in their article. of course this is a good opportunity to support our "campaign": spread KAT-TUN in Indonesia ^^

When I was a kid I wanted to be either a Jedi, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (well, just the slayer), or Laura Croft. hbic, laura croft, man. hbic.
When I got older and slightly more reasonable I figured I would settle for just being someone that I liked.
At 19 I decided I was none of the above, but I could make a damn good pasta dinner so that would just have to do until I got my shit together.
At 20 I thought I had my shit together. Later to find out that it was sort of the exact opposite.
And now, at 22, I have decided to actually get my shit together and stop being such a pussy about every fucking little thing. (I am actually doing fairly well at it, so far, disregarding moments like my last post when I was not on top of my shit) But that aside, I can still cook my pasta dinner and a whole lot of other delightful foods, I am learning to like myself and pretend to when I don't want to, and I have learned that just whining and expecting things to change doesn't actually do shit. So, all in all, I am actually relatively happy even though maybe I am not as awesome as I thought I was going to be when I was little. But who cares? I will be. There's still time and I am going to kick some ass. Besides, it's almost cold enough out side to wear my gq coat, my little sister is better, and things are going to be okay. I have decided so too bad, life better just deal with it.

hello all! first post here ^_^ normally i don't bake at home, only at school, but we had 18 egg yolks from making angel food cake and white cake that i needed to make something with egg yolks
i really wanted to make else but i am a poor college student so luckily i found a recipe that had what i had at home

also i've never tagged a post before so i have no idea what to do XD..thanks

I've always wanted to make this, and my fiance has mentioned that he hasn't had one in a long time, so for Halloween I decided to make it. I used a recipe from this one book I bought, called The Essential Baking Cookbook. Enjoy.
